Post Doctoral Training
Alicia completed her Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training with the South East Thames NHS Training Course based in University of Canterbury. Her thesis was an investigation into support for families where there was a child/young person with a learning disability. The outcomes for this showed the need for continued support for families throughout the lifetime of the child/young person not just during the school years. This was published in 1989.
